Welcome

My name is Stacy. I am a junior software developer based in the US.
Continue to find out more about me and my projects.

Let's Go!

Stacy Sanders

I am a software developer based out of the U.S. states of Indiana and Oregon. I am a March 2022 graduate of Eleven Fifty Academy's Software Development Bootcamp, after successfully completing their Gold, Blue, and Red Badge courses. Skills learned include C#, Unit Testing, CSS, HTML, git, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Postman, Visual Studio 2019/2022, ASP.NET Web API & MVC, Azure, SQL, and Agile Methodologies. In March 2022, I received my MTA: Software Development Fundamentals Certification after successfully proving competency in core programming, databases, desktop applications, general software development, object-oriented programming, and web applications.
I am also a proud graduate of the Salesforce Pathfinder Training Program 2022 cohort and completed the Salesforce Developer Track. I am a certified Salesforce Administrator and a Trailhead Ranger with 8 Superbadges.
After completing bootcamp, I made the decision to go back to school for Computer Science! As a Senior II at Indiana State University I have learned more about Web Programming, Programming Structures, and Discrete Structures and Computer Theory while using C, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and Assembly.
Though new to the professional tech world, I have long had an interest in programming languages and all things tech. I have spent the last several years in the financial sector working in research, remediation, and loan analysis. My previous work included maintenance scheduling, quality analysis and inventory control. I continue learning and polishing my skills daily on sites such as Codecademy, Pluralsight, W3Schools, and Saleforce's Trailhead.

Tech Training Tracker

Red Badge, our final project, we were to create a .NET Framework MVC 5 Web Application using n-tier architecture. I wanted to create a way to track my training courses, certifications, and the skills I have gained. This application allows a user to create their user information, the companies that offer the training courses and/or certifications, the training courses, the certifications, and their skills. This application could also be used by someone in a recruiter or management role as they could create multiple user profiles and the relevant information. The project was deployed through Azure App Services.

PetAdopterAPI

Blue Badge project - we were instructed to build a .NET Framework API Web Application using n-tier architecture. My three teammates and I decided to create a Pet Adopter API. We worked together to create data for domestic and exotic pets, adopters, and shelters. The application allows users to enter shelters, domestic pets, exotic pets, and adopters. With the API, a user is able to sort the pets by various properties including (but not limited to) if they are house-trained, declawed, and/or sterile, the breed, and the shelter at which they are located. I was responsible for the domestic code and testing our endpoints with Postman.

Static Store Front

During Gold Badge, we were tasked with creating a wireframe and then building a static storefront application using HTML5 and CSS. As a lover of Fiber Arts, I decided to create a store that sells all things fiber. A Knitta's Paradise, if you will!

Developer Team Console Application

Gold Badge project - we were instructed to create a console application to help a product managers with their multiple software development teams. We were to create two POCO's (Plain old C# Objects) and two Repositories.
